We are a small studio based in Melbourne, Australia. Toby is responsible for wood carving, while I (Weijun) take care of drawing and coloring, among other tasks.
Toby graduated from the Sculpture Department at the University of Melbourne. With a career spanning 25 years in art-related fields, he currently holds a position at the National Gallery of Victoria. He has successfully held several solo art exhibitions in Australia, earning recognition and a strong reputation within the industry.
And I am originally from Shanghai, China, graduated from Shanghai Arts & Crafts Institute. After graduation, I worked for fashion magazine for a decade.
Since I settled in Melbourne in 2019, Toby and I have found common ground, sharing a deep love and understanding of art. We both believe that art shouldn't be confined to the confines of high-end galleries, it should be present in the everyday, transforming each art piece into a unique treasure.
Our art can become a part of the home's scenery, a memory, a vision. We embrace pop culture and contemporary art, infusing their creative work with influences from music, books, movies, and popular culture they adore.
Through our distinct approach, we try our best to leave some marks in this world and share it with everyone. Let’s give trees a second life, thriving and enduring for eternity.
